The Challenge Seminar Series (via ZOOM) for 2022 will continue to be held monthly on Tuesdays at 7pm to 8pm (UK Time), dates and invites will be listed below. There will be a continuation of topics around UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. By sharing together we seek to inform, challenge and inspire new thinking and action by individuals in business, education and community to promote sustainable development.

May: SDG 17 Partnership For the Goals . 'We can only achieve together'

This seminar will be led by Dan Clayton, Sustainability Manager at Lincolnshire County Council. Sustainable Development Goal 17 is about "partnerships for the goals." One of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015, the official wording is: "Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development". Dan is a very experienced Sustainability Manager with a demonstrated history of working across public and business sectors. He is skilled in Sustainable Development, Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Energy Policy, and Carbon Management.

July: UN SDG Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

UN SDG 12: Sustainable consumption and production is about promoting resource and energy efficiency, sustainable infrastructure, and providing access to basic services, green and decent jobs and a better quality of life for all. Its implementation helps to achieve overall development plans, reduce future economic, environmental and social costs, strengthen economic competitiveness and reduce poverty.

September: UN SDG Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

UN SDG 5 "Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. Providing women and girls with equal access to education, health care, decent work, and representation in political and economic decision-making processes will fuel sustainable economies and benefit societies and humanity at large."

October: SDG 9 Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation

For this, we need to promote innovative sustainable technologies and ensure equal and universal access to information and financial markets.
